PostSubject: Sound Card Issues   Sat Aug 22, 2009 4:39 pm

Hey does anyone here own the Creative Fatality Titanium X-FI PcI express Sound card? If so I am having troubles with it crashing while in the middle of games. It will be fine and then all of the sudden it will just get all distorted sounding and i cannot understand anything. All I do is restart and the problem is temporarily solved but it is becoming a pain in the ass, so if anyone has any quick fixes or possible fixes for this id appreciate it. Thanks Fellazz.... elephant

Yes I updated the drivers for both my headset and my sound card and still its doing the same shit? Seems like it mainly happens when i am in cod4. Thats all I can really pinpoint at this stage.

Well it seems like your cod4 is messing up, PB and sound, who knows, it might just be cod4.

Yea it told me the other day that my comp was running in safe mode because it had crashed earlier and that i needed to fix it in CBios, could this have something to do with both issues maybe? And how do i get it back of of safe mode once its in it?

Aight guys just an update. Finally got a new headset so that's fixed and I updated a few things in my cbios and I haven't had any sound card issues since, so basically so far so good.
